Black Friday, the Early Bird Catches the Worm, Just That Simple?

It is not new to see so many people dashing into the sales markets early in the morning on Black Friday and fighting for the lowest discount products. What drives them to go and compete for better sales in brick-and-mortar stores instead of E-shops?

Many Americans battle biting wind and drifting snow to line up in front of supermarkets and compete for discount products in the small hours of every ‘Black Friday’ morning.

Some people feel funny about this, some people feel like fighting in war, there are also people who feel like getting involved in a robbery, because displaying a fast speed and much strength is required to succeed in getting what you really fancy .

The secret underlying this business mode is, American retailers are trying to attract all consumers of different class ranks and to sell them same products of different degrees of discounts separately by shunting them on to different periods of the time.

The Morning Special or Best Buy are only available from 12 am to 6 am, which means these cut-price but limited products are bound to push those low-income earners come early and queue up outside the supermarkets.

Whereas the higher discount products are therefore left to those middle class or high income groups and they may probably shop during the daytime or after work.

It is certain that in one of these days, the commercial mode of “Black Friday” will soon be imitated by other countries. Thankfully, in just the past Chinese Double Eleven, shoppers were laying their hands on online commodities instead of real items in bricks-and-mortar shops for it would be much scary and nobody would know what will happen then.
